Lotto: The lotto draw for a jackpot of €7000 was held on Saturday night last in Moynihan’s Bar, Headleysbridge. The numbers drawn were 2, 11, 14 and 15. There was no winner of the jackpot. The five lucky dips of €30 each drawn went to Christina Walsh Ballyduff, Mairéad Hickey Meenleitrim, Katie Flynn Duagh, P.J. Keane The Village and Mary Moynihan Headleysbridge. The next draw will be for a jackpot of €7100 and will be held in O’Connor’s Bar Knocknagoshel on Saturday 7th of April.

Fixtures and Results; Knocknagoshel lost out to Asdee in the first round of the county league on a scoreline of 1-11 to 0-12. They will play Austin Stacks B at home in the next round on Sunday 25th March at 2p.m. Knock/Brosna/Duagh minors are at home to St. Mary’s/Renard on Monday 19th March at 4pm. Membership; For anyone who is interested in becoming a member of Knocknagoshel GAA for 2018 they should contact Dan Roche, John O’Keeffe or Jack O’Connell immediately. Membership remains the same price as last year. An ordinary member pays €30 for membership. Remember only paid up members can ask for tickets for inter county games through the club and membership is necessary to participate in any role within the club. Clothes Collection: Knocknagoshel GAA are holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as=A0well as shoes,handbags, curtains & towels.
