KERRY HURLING: Well done to the Kerry Senior Hurling team who defeated Meath on Saturday last to guarantee their place in the Joe McDonagh Cup for 2019. Podge Boyle (Captain), Mikey Boyle, Jack Goulding and Daniel O’Carroll all played on Saturday. They now make the long trip to Dunloy to take on Antrim on the coming weekend

Senior Football: Ballyduff Senior footballer­s are due to play Rathmore B on this coming weekend in the Credit Union sponsored County League Division 5. Check with Club Officials for confirmati­on of time.

County Hurling Championsh­ip: Ballyduff are drawn to meet Abbeyorney in the first round of the Garvey’s Super-Valu County Senior Hurling Championsh­ip. Games are due to be played on the weekend of June 16th/17th. Full details later. U14s - The Feile preparatio­ns for the U14s were put aside this week as they were in action in the U14 County League. They played Ballyheigu­e on Monday in Ballyduff and won on a scoreline of 0-7 to 0-4. Next up was the final against Lixnaw in Causeway on Saturday. After a slow start they got into their stride and played some lovely hurling and went into half time with a very healthy lead. Lixnaw were never going to give up and credit to them they battled hard in the second half scoring two late goals, however the rally came too late and Ballyduff were crowned victors on a scoreline of 3-19 to 2-08.
