TABLE QUIZ

Maurice Fitzgerald’s Friday 15th June @ 9pm. €20 per 4 person team. To raise money for re-incarnation of Street Fair. Spot prizes and raffle on the night.

REGATTA

This year’s Maharees regatta will be held on June 24th. Further details to follow.

NOTICE

Upcoming elections for the Community council will be taking place in June with new members starting end of August. Stradbally, Maharees, Aughacasla and the Village are eligible to have 5 members per area to sit on the Council. Some active board members have served the maximum elected term allowed so it is critical that new representation step forward. This is an excellent opportunity for your voice to be heard and positively impact the future of our community.

SUMMER FESTIVAL

Dates for the Summer Festival: July 13th, 14th and 15th

Calling all Artists and Photographers! On 21st and 22nd July there will be a Maritime Festival in the Clubrooms at Castlegregory. We are looking for submissions. Ocean theme. No entry fee but 10% commission on sold works. Must be ready for hanging and labelled with price, title, medium and your name on the back. Drop off date from Sunday 15th July to Thursday 19th July. Exhibition will run until 28th July at 4pm. Pick up either then or Monday 30th July until 5pm. Call Marcia 087 1693493 for more info

This has been moved from Maurice Fitzgeralds Pub and put in a box outside the doors of Spar.

COMMUNITY ALERT GROUP

Pendant alarms have been successfully installed for several residents in the community, who are happy with the results. The alarms provide a good measure of security. We are still submitting applications. If you are over 65 and even if you have an alarm that is no longer working you can apply. Please contact the Office: 066 7139422

GAA CLUB

Castlegregory GAA Membership is now due for 2018. Cost €30 for non playing single member and €50 for a couple and can be paid to any committee member.
