CROI FITNESS EXERCISE CLASSES

HEALING SERVICE AT ST. MICHAEL’S WELL

This will take place on Sunday June 17th at 3.00pm. This will be the seventh year of our service which consists of (1) Bible Readings. (2) Special Anointing of the Sick. (3) A blessing for carers and people who mind their sick.

SOCCER LOTTO

The numbers drawn in last weeks Mountcolli­ns A.F.C. lotto were 14, 14, 21 and 26. There was no winner of the jackpot prize. Lucky dip prizes went to Pa Shine, Brosna, Mikey Finnegan, Mountcolli­ns, Breda O Connor Kostal, Tom Crowe, Shannon and Chris Browne, Brosna. The promoters prize went to Julie Murphy. This weeks jackpot will be €4,800

GAA LOTTO

There was no winner of last weeks Mountcolli­ns/Tournafull­a GAA clubs lotto where numbers drawn were 18, 21, 23 and 24. The winners in the lucky dips draw were, Connor O Sullivan, Tournafull­a, Kathleen Collins, Abbetfeale, Ian O Sullivan, Ballyheigu­e and Podge O Sullivan, Tournafull­a. The promoters prize went to Chris O Connor. This weeks jackpot will be €1,500.EXAMS: The best of luck to all the students from the parish who commence their 2018 exams this week.

MUNSTER HURLING

Hurling followers from the parish travelled in large numbers to Cork on Saturday evening to witness an epic contest between Limerick and Cork in the Munster hurling championsh­ip. Limerick are now in a good position to make the final and a good result against Waterford next weekend can ensure the dream. the best of luck to the team and management.

CAR RALLY

Large crowds were visible at various vantage points on Sunday last to view the circuit of Munster car rally. The event was held in beautiful weather conditions at the east of the parish with road closures throughout the day for the various stages.

TIDY TOWNS

Mountcolli­ns Tidy Towns Associatio­n would like to thank all those who subscribed to their annual church gate collection which was held before the evening mass on Saturday evening.

CEILÍ

The next CEILÍ in Halla Tadgh Gaeltach, Tournafull­a will be held on this Friday night, June 8th. Music for the occasion will be provided by the Johnny Reid Ceilí Band. Refreshmen­ts will be served on the night and all are welcome to dance the night away in the final ceilí before the summer break.

TEA DANCE

The Wednesday club are holding a fund raising Tea Dance on Sunday June 10th in Fr. Casey’s GAA clubhouse, Abbeyfeale. Proceeds will go towards The Kerry Hospice, Tralee and Recovery Haven Cancer Support House. Dancing is from 3 to 6pm to the music of Paddy Quilligan. Tickets are €5 each and your support is appreciate­d.
