Germinal Ireland & Teagasc to host reseeding demonstrat­ion

GERMINAL Ireland in conjunctio­n with Teagasc is holding a reseeding demonstrat­ion on June 14 at 7pm in the Salesian Agricultur­al College, Pallaskenr­y, Co Limerick in an event not to be missed full as it will be of cutting-edge knowledge on the topic.

The topics to be discussed at this Knowledge Transfer event include soil fertility, sowing methods and post emergence spraying. Germinal’s Nicky Byrne will discuss variety evaluation from the most recent Teagasc PPI list.

This event is also an excellent opportunit­y to view the progress of high-performing varieties such as AberGain and AberChoice, which were used to reseed paddocks in the sheep unit of the college in 2017 THESE pictures from John Lynch at Kelliher’s Feed and Agri supplies in Ballymulle­n display in no uncertain way the qualities of a number of seed mixtures.
