U12 wins for Dynamos, Inter and Athletic

JK SPORTS UNDER 12 Premier

THERE were wins for Tralee Dynamos, Inter Kenmare and Killarney Athletic. Tralee Dynamos had goals from Nick Lacey and Mathew Rogers in a 2-1 home win over Dingle Bay Rovers. The West Kerry side’s goal came from Cian McGearailt.

Killarney Athletic were also winners at home defeating Listowel Celtic 4-0. Luke Doolan got two, Brian O’Shea and Liam Hennigan got the goals for the Woodlawn side.

Inter Kenmare won away at LB Rovers in a tight game where they won by the odd goal in five. Darragh Murphy, Neal O’Shea and Jack Sweeney got the Inter goals, but they also needed their keeper Danny O’Shea to be at his best to ensure they won. Leigh Meehan hit a 30 Yard cracker and Michael Houlihan got the LB Rovers goals.

Division 1

THERE were five games decided in the division. Mastergeeh­a were too strong for Ballyhar with goals from Sean McAulliffe (three), Mathew Kennedy (two), Ronan McCarthy, Dylan Cronin and Seán Cox.

Killarney Celtic B scored all their three goals in their 3-0 home win over Park B in a game that was scoreless at half-time. JJ O’Donoghue got two and Darragh O’Sullivan the other goal for the Hoops.

Killarney Athletic B were 4-1 winners in Woodlawn over Listowel Celtic B. Luke Courtney, Killian White, Evan Doona and Brian McCarthy were on the mark for Athletic.

Fenit won away at Inter Kenmare B thanks to goals from Aaron Harty (two), Tom Quilter (two) and Jayden Deasy. An Adam Crean goal was not enough for Camp Juniors to get anything from their home game against Tralee Dynamos who won 3-1.

Division 2 North and South

IN North Camp Juniors B had too much firepower for Ballyhar B and had goals from Mark Vansteenki­ste who hit two as an attacking left back. Mikey O’Leary hit four with Jago Brodie three and Robert Keane also on the mark.

LB Rovers B won on the road at Ballyheigu­e thanks to goals from Seán Enright two and Alex O’Connell.

In the Southern section Inter Kenmare went 1-0 up away to MEK thanks to a Diarmuid Healy goal in the first half.

However the home side took over in the second half with James Clifford getting both and the winner coming with fifteen minutes to go.

Iveragh United goals came from Alex Kelly, David Kennedy, Dáithí Sugrue, Darren O’Sullivan, Ryan O’Connor and Zac Driscoll in their home win over Killarney Athletic B.

Killorglin B defeated Killarney Celtic C in Killorglin thanks to two goals from Rioghan O’Sullivan and one each from Patrick O’Donnell and Cian Hughes.

Girls Premier

CAMP Juniors and Killarney Celtic Green played out a 2-2 draw. Miriam Sheehan and Tara Ryan got the goals for the home side while Jessica Leggate got both goals for Killarney Celtic Green.

DALYS SUPERVALU UNDER 13 Division 2

THERE was one game played in midweek with Killarney Athletic defeating Dingle Bay Rovers 4-3. The Athletic goals came from Ryan Brady (two), Glen Bowler and a Daniel Fleming penalty. Patrick Cahill (two) and Kieran Moran were on the mark for Dingle Bay.
