League final down for decision

THE County Senior Hurling League, Division 1 Final between Causeway and Ballyduff is scheduled for Causeway on this Saturday at 3pm in Causeway, having finished on top following the league stages of the competition, have home venue for the final. Ballyduff are the current holders of the Nicholas Scollard Cup while Causeway last won it in 2015.
Munster Club
LIXNAW went down by 1-17 to 0-11 against the Cork premier intermediate champions Charleville last Saturday in the semi-final of the Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship.
It was a great achievement to get to that stage of the competition, well done to all involved. The arrangements for the game were excellently managed and their recently renovated facilities at Hermitage Park are indeed a credit to the Lixnaw club.
On this Saturday, November 10, Kilgarvan are away to the Limerick champions, Tournafulla, in the Munster Junior Hurling Championship quarter-final. Throw in time is 1.30pm. Full fixture details at www. munstergaa.ie

THREE Kerry hurlers received national recognition last weekend.
At the GAA All-Stars function held at the National Conference Centre on Friday, Sean Weir (Crotta O’Neill’s) had the honour of being presented with a Joe McDonagh All-Star Award.
On Saturday at the GAA Games Development Centre in Abbotstown, Fionán Mackessy [St. Brendan’s] & Evan Murphy [Causeway] were members of the Ireland U-21 Shinty team that played Scotland. Congratulations to all.

THE North Kerry Hurtling Board Annual Awards function will take place at Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Friday, November 30.
Coaching
THE Tralee Parnells Autumn Hurling Academy Week 4 takes place on this Friday, November 9 at the Tralee Sports Complex.
It is open to new and current players and a hurley and helmet will be available for new players. For Under 6 (2012/2013/2014) - indoor training for boys and girls from 6.00 to 6.45pm; U-8 (2010/2011) - indoor training for boys 6.45 to 7.30pm.; Under 10 (2008/2009) - Astro pitch training for boys 6.00 to 7pm.
