Congratula­tions to Carol Brick formerly of Ballymacan­drew whose company HerMoney was awarded the Cork Financial Services Firm of the Year at the Cork Business Awards in the Clayton Silverspri­ngs hotel last weekend. HerMoney is a specialist subdivisio­n of CWM Wealth Management which Carol founded ten years ago with offices in Cork and Dublin.

ST. BRENDAN’S ATHLETIC CLUB

Our juveniles enjoyed the 100th Tralee junior parkrun last Sunday morning in Tralee Town Park. Training continues on Wednesday evening in Ardfert Community Centre from 6:30 p.m. to 8p.m. for children born in the years 2008 to 2011. For the older athletes born in the years 2007 to 2001 training is also held on Wednesday evening from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in The Sportsfiel­d (Ardfert GAA). Cost for all ages is €2.00 and please bring a bottle of water with you. Adult Strength and Conditioni­ng Training is held every Tuesday evening from 8 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. in Ardfert Community Centre. Cost is €3. The club are now accepting new members for both juveniles and adults. Weekly training runs with our Fit 4 Life group are also arranged during the week. Entries are now being taken for the Munster Inter Club Juvenile Relay Cross Country Championsh­ips on Sunday, 18th November in Clarecastl­e, Co Clare.

Wishing Ben O’Connor and Matthew O’Sullivan the best of luck as they compete in the Munster Juvenile Uneven Age Cross Country in Two Mile Borris, Co. Tipperary this Sunday.
