No joy for Kerry sides in Youth Cup
FAI YOUTHS CUP SECOND ROUND
THERE was no joy for Kerry sides in the second round of the FAI Youths Cup on Saturday with The Park, Tralee Dynamos and Killarney Athletic bowing out.
The Park hosted Clare side Avenue United and the sides were level 2-2 after 90 minutes with Mervyn Shalemba and Conor Hayes scoring for The Park. In extra-time where the visitors added four goals to win 6-2.
Killarney Athletic travelled to Clare and were unlucky to go down 3-2 in a tight game. Adam O’Connell and Caolan Ryan scored for Athletic.
Tralee Dynamos travelled to West Limerick and went down 3-0 to Ballingarry.
