Minutes later Sean O’Connell pulled one back for Senans when he pointed a free, Senans had settled and in the next ten minutes Paudie Quille rattled the net, Jason Browne blasted Senans second goal and David Foran had the Finuge keeper collecting the ball from the back of the net for the third time. Goals win matches and at this stage Senans were well in control and never looked back. Half time score 3-04 to 1-05. On the resumption Pat Corridan and Sean O’Connell exchanged frees. Sean O’Connell kicked two further frees and Paudie Quille added two points,Finuge added three points with their final point in the thirty seventh minute of the half. Senans lost Darragh Behan to injury before the game and Mike Keane in the second half best wishes to both for a speedy recovery. The Senans subs who were introduced in the second half played their part and this was a fine performanc­e from the panel, well done all. Senans booked their place in the semi-final with victory over Desmonds in Finuge on Sunday 11thNovemb­er . Desmonds started better and Senans found themselves chasing the game however a fantastic goal by wing back Mark Behan brought Senans back into the game. Senans were leading 1-07 to 1-03 at the break again Mark Behan rattled the Desmonds net for his second goal early in the second half, Desmonds dug deep and in the closing minutes only a point separated the teams.

St. Senans booked their place in the North Kerry Senior Football championsh­ips Final with a 3-09 to 1-09 victory over Finuge on Sunday 18th November in Tarbert. Well done lads.
