Beaufort are Munster Club Junior champs

CONGRATULATIONS to Beaufort on being crowned Munster Junior champions. It was an epic battle in Mallow and a game which kept supporters enthralled until the final whistle! At half time Beaufort trailed 2-6 to 1-3 but pegged it back to finish at full time 2-9 a piece.

Extra-time was needed to crown a winner and the final whistle saw Beaufort ahead by the slimmest of margins 2-13 to 2-12. Nathan Breen received the Cup from the Munster Chairman Jerry O’Sullivan.

Meanwhile, Kilgarvan secured their place in the Munster Junior B final (Knockaderry Tournament) having beaten Doonbeg 1-10 to 0-7. Next Sunday they play Ballinacrra in the final at 2pm in Knockaderry.
