FIXTURES: North Kerry Championship Final: Ballydonoghue v St Senans Sunday 9th Dec in Moyvane at 2:30pm. A hard ask for our boys to come out again for the third week in a row after two gruelling encounters with Ballyduff. St. Senans will be quietly waiting in the long grass after their three week break. But knowing the Ballydonoghue team they won’t go down without a fight and we can expect another close affair with little between the sides at the final whistle.

RESULTS; North Kerry Senior Championship semi-final replay: Ballydonoghue 1-11. Ballyduff 0-10.

Another ding dong battle between Ballydonoghue and Ballyduff on Sunday at the pristine grounds of Brosna GAA club. Ballydonoghue had the edge for most of the game but could never put clear water between themselves and their opponents. We weren’t helped by a couple of strange refereeing decisions early in the first half, Jack Foley was hand tripped as he bore down on goal. The referee signalled for a penalty but after discussion with an umpire he reversed his decision and instead gave a hop ball. Even the Ballyduff supporters were bemused. Again in the final stage of the game as we led by four points a scramble in the Ballydonoghue goalmouth ended in Ballyduff being awarded a penalty. After again an input from the umpires, thankfully Darragh O’Shea was in tip top form and brought off a spectacular save, game over.
