It is a great day as well for our own club as the Ballylongf­ord Senior Team who this tear are the Jubilee Team of 1993which are being honoured at half time in the senior game. It is hard to believe that it was 25years ago since Ballylongf­ord lifted the Cup, this was the second last time that Bally won the Championsh­ip. The last being 2000 in which they defeated St Senans in Tarbert. So a great day lies in store in Moyvane on Sunday next. That team of 1993 were: Ned Moloney; Georgie Dee; Timmy Foley; Donie Mulvihill; Sean Heaphy; Jim Holmes; Patrick Dowling; Sean Dee; Stephen Dowling; Liam Weir; Kieran Culhane; Eamon Hennessy; M. Heaphy; Paul O’Donoghue; Jackie Walsh. Subs: Barry Walsh; Padraig Collins; Seamus Hanrahan; Tommy Mulvihill; Tom Stack; Shane Purtill; David Doherty; Mike Donovan; Kevin McCarthy; Tom Hanrahan; Colm Carmody; Jonathan Woods. Man of the Match: Stephen Dowling. The two team mascots on that day were: John O’Mahony Well Street, nd Edward Hanrahan Shannon Lawn. The Team Management were: Jim O’ Carroll. Jim Hanrahan R.I.P. and John Joe Walsh. LOTTO: Draw took place in Bolands Bar on Tuesday 27th November . Numbers drawn were 9, 20, 23, 27. No jackpot winner.
