U-13 PREMIER

IT was a bad day for the leading sides in the Daly’s Supervalu U-13 Premier. Killorglin dropped their first points after a 2-1 loss to a very good Killarney Athletic display. Oisin Lynch and Timmy Galvin put the home side ahead in Woodlawn. Killorglin fought hard and pulled one back late on through Jack McGrath but despite strong pressure they couldn’t find an equaliser thanks to resolute Athletic defending.

Killarney Celtic were in joint second at the start of play but they went down at home to the Park. The Tralee side were 2-0 up early on thanks to goals from Andrew Kerins and Immanuel Manu. But Celtic hit back with two from Jason O’Sullivan to level matters. However the Park had the last word when Manu got his second and his sides third to secure the win.

Listowel Celtic moved into second place and only 6 points behind the leader Killorglin and with a game in hand. Their win came away at Tralee Dynamos and goals from Evan Boyle (2) and Ciaran Clarke saw them lead 3-1. Jake Hoare added to an earlier goal from Eoin Flaherty as they fought in vain to grab an equaliser.

U-13 DIVISION 1

INTER Kenmare were the big movers in the Daly’s U-13 Division 1 Inter Kenmare were the big winners as they now led the Division by one point thanks to their 5-2 at Killarney Celtic B. Ben O’Callaghan, Barry Fitzsimons, Ronan McCarthy (2) and Zack O’Shea got the Inter goals.

Castleisland have moved into joint second place with their fourth win from four games, and they have two games in hand. Jack Joy and Jack O’Donoghue saw them come from one down after Ryan O’Connor had given Killorglin B the lead. But the winners needed keeper Chris Devane to make two great saves to guarantee his side took all three points.

Mastergeeha are still in touch after they were too strong for Camp Juniors at Kilbrean Park. Jack Tagney (3), Liam Horgan (2), Ronan McCarthy and an own goal gave them the win.

U-13 DIVISION 2 NORTH

LB Rovers were unlucky not to be the first team to take points of Park C. At Christy Leahy Park the home side had goals from Noah Carroll and Sam Slattery with Leigh Meehan replying for the North Kerry side.

KILLARNEY Athletic B extended their lead at the top of the U-13 Division 2 with a win over second placed Dingle Bay Rovers. Rohan Sipon, Liam Hennigan, Eanna Kearney, Nathan Cronin, Anton Donachov and Daire Kingston got the Athletic goals.

Ballyhar are well in touch with the two teams above them after they beat Killorglin C 3-0 at Murt Scott Park. Aaron O’Sullivan and Kristupos got the goals.
