Under-17 league ties produces huge amount of goals

Mastergeeha 3 Ballyhar Dynamos 6
THIS was another big win by Ballyhar against Mastergeeha. In a tight first half they led 3-2 at half time with their goals coming from Jason Brennan, Cian Cronin and Peter Cosgrave.
The winners pulled away in the second half with Cosgrave adding two more to complete his hat trick and Nathan Callaghan added the sixth goal. Best for Ballyhar were Cian Ring, John Power, Brian O’Driscoll, Conor O’Sullivan, Patrick O’Connor, James O’Leary and Conor Henderson. The Mastergeeha scorers were Paudie Murphy, Ian O’Connor and Chris Moynihan.
St Brendan’s Park 3 Rattoo Rovers 3
IN a good competitive game a draw was probably a fair outcome at the end. Colin Walsh, Sean McGrath and Terence Carmody scored for The Park and Rhys Keane, Nathan McGrath and Dylan Moriarty were on the mark for Rattoo Rovers.
Fenit Samphires 3 Atletico Ardfert 1
FENIT took the three points with a good solid all round performance. Gavin Burrows. Eddie Stack and Tadgh McKenna scored for the winners.
Ballyheigue Athletic 9 Listowel Celtic 1
IN a one-sided game Ballyheigue were far too strong for Listowel Celtic and recorded a facile win. The top marksman for the winners was David O’Mahoney with four goals. Conor O’Sullivan, Darragh Nolan, Thomas Gaynor, Jimmy O’Halloran and Rory Duggan completed the scoring for the seasiders.
Killarney Athletic 2 Killarney Celtic 3
CELTIC came away with the bragging rights in the Killarney derby in a tight, keenly contested game. Terry Sparling scored a brace of goals for Celtic and their other goal was an own goal. Matt Fleming and Owen Benson scored for Athletic.
