Kerry pair on Munster U19 Schools
REPRESENTATIVE ACTION
DARRAGH Fitzgerald of Rugbai Corca Dhuibhne and Pobal Scoil Corca Dhuibhne, along with Harry Benner of Tralee RFC and Glenstal Abbey, started for the Munster U-19 schools in their friendly match against Australian Schools at Thomomd Park last Friday night.
Fitzgerald played at prop forward whilst Benner lined out in the centre. Munster went down by 3415 but both lads acquitted themselves quite well with Fitzgerald taking on some big carries while Benner was always dangerous with ball in hand and made some telling defensive tackles.
JJ Hanrahan kicked 2 conversions for Munster in their 44-14 victory over Edinburgh in the Guinness Pro 14 Round 10 clash at Irish Independent Park last Friday night. Hanrahan had a very good game at out half, where he partnered Conor Murray on his return from injury.
Keith Earls was in blistering form for Munster and bagged a hat trick of tries whilst Chris Farrell (2), Andrew Conway (2) and Tyler Bleyendaal were the other try scorers.
Next up for Munster is the massive Heineken Champions Cup clash against Castres Olympique at Thomond Park next Sunday at 1pm.
