BAKE SALE

Time to support a wonderful local event. A Bake Sale, in aid of Brosna N.S. Parents’ Associatio­n, will take place in Joe Browne’s Bar in Brosna on Saturday the 8th of December after Mass. All proceeds raised on the night will go towards the running of the Parents’ Associatio­n.

The well known traditiona­l duet of Jackie Daly on accordion and Matt Cranitch on fiddle will play inconcert of Sliabh music in Bruach Na Carraige Rockchapel on Saturday the 15th of December starting at 8pm

HYMNS AND HERS REQUIRED

The first night of Christmas choir practice takes place on Wednesday evening at 7pm. Any singers or musicians (regardless of age or gender) will be extended a very friendly welcome. Our choir is seasonal and our numbers are small. Drop in - it’s very rewarding and enjoyable.

PITCH PERFECT

Our fabulous Pairc na Feile hosted two important games on Sunday. Considerin­g the amount of rain that’s fallen in recent weeks the pitch was in wonderful condition.
