CANCER SUPPORT TABLE QUIZ

Supporting a Cancer Charity this Christmas? Why not support the Kilflynn Cancer Support Group, which is holding its annual table quiz during the Christmas season. The event it self takes place on Friday night, December 28th at 9pm and, as usual, will be a simulcast between Parker’s Pub and Herbert’s Bar.

Conor and Daragh Breen will help with the questions and provide musical entertainment. The proceeds will be divided between Recovery Haven, Kerry Hospice and Kerry Cancer Support. As well as being a great fundraiser, the quiz has become an integral part of Christmas celebrations in the Kilflynn community, with local families returning each year. The fun filled quiz night is not all about answering questions, as there are numerous auctions and raffles, for which the organizers would be grateful to receive any donations. Maybe you could ask a business you regularly deal with for some item that we might raffle or sell on the night. For example, vouchers are particularly useful as the buyer can then purchase what they themselves might like.

Also, if you have any unwanted presents don=92t put them in the attic; give them to us to raise much-needed funds for our charities. If interested please contact John Flaherty on (087) 2352753. Any donations can be handed in to Parkers Pub, Herberts Bar and shop and Irish Truck and Trailer. As always the organizers thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you on the night!
