COMMUNITY GAMES AWARDS

Congratulations to everyone who are part of Duagh/Lyre Community Games including participants, parents, supporters and volunteers. Nelius Collins Duagh/ Lyre area secretary received the National County area award on our behalf in Cavan last Saturday night. Duagh/Lyre received the overall award for Kerry (based on participation, steps to health and other points achieved). This is a great achievement for our area. Well done everyone. National Community Games Media Award: Congratulations to Norma (Doran), Fergal and the Sheridan family on winning the Aldi National Community Games Media Award - family photo competition. Norma and Fergal received this award at the National Community Games awards night in Cavan. Norma continues the winning streak for Duagh/Lyre putting our area on the map. Norma is a member of our steps to health committee. Congratulations from us all in Duagh/Lyre Community Games. The winning picture was taken at National finals in UL.

COMMUNITY GAMES DRAW

Congratulations to Aine McMahon Duagh on winning prize 5 in the National Community Games draw, a trip to Mayo. Everyone who registered in our area received a free entry to the draw. The draw took place at the National Community Games awards evening.

DRAUGHTS: IMPORTANT NOTICE

Change of times specific to ages. Due to the large numbers attending draughts training we are splitting the group. This is to give everyone time and to play against another participant of similar age group. Changes are as follows: U10 only 7-8,U12&14 8-9pm every Monday evening at Duagh N.S.
