Castle’ and Dingle for minor final

West Kerry Minor Football Championship

AFTER the Moran’s of Dingle West Kerry Minor Football Championship semi-finals in Gallarus we will see a rematch of last year’s final where Castlegregory met Dingle. Dingle overcame a spirited An Ghaeltacht after extra time was needed to separate the two sides.

The score after full time was An Ghaeltacht 3-6 to 3-6 Dingle and after extra-time An Ghaeltacht 3-7 to 3-10 Dingle.

Last year’s champions Castlegregory defeated Annascaul/Lispole in a close game where both sides gave of their all, Annascaul/ Lispole 1-6 to 2-7 Castlegregory. Great credit to all teams and players for the skills displayed in very tough playing conditions in Gallarus last Saturday.

The Moran’s of Dingle West Kerry Minor Football Championship Final will be played next Sunday at 2pm between Castlegregory and Dingle in Páirc Sheáin Uí Bharóid, Lios Póil.

West Kerry Board AGM

THE AGM of the West Kerry Board will take place in John Benny Moriarty Pub, Dingle on Wednesday, December 19 at 8pm. Each Club in West Kerry is allowed two delegates and one other member of their club, up to three people attending.
