Defeat in Gaynor Cup openers for U-13 and U-15
KERRY began their grading tournament for the 2019 Gaynor Cup with away defeats by Limerick Desmond for the U-13s and U-15s. Both sides will be in UL in May / June for the biggest week of underage girls soccer but the four game qualifying process will decide if they play in the Cup or Trophy competition.
The U-13s were without their keeper who had to pull out sick went down 2-0 to Limerick Desmond while the U-15s were beaten 6-0 by the Desmond girls who were at the U-14s Gaynor next year and who would be well ahead of the Kerry girls in terms of experience.
The Kerry U-13s and U-15s will be at home to South Tipperary in their next group game.
