PUBLIC MEETING
A public meeting to discuss the recent TG4 program about Ballylongford, ‘FALLING INTO FURTHER DECLINE’ will be held on Wednesday December 12th at 8pm in the parish hall. All are welcome.
FUN RUN/WALK
The annual Tidy Towns fundraising Christmas fun run/ walk takes place on St Stephen’s day at 1pm. Participants can take part in either the 6k or 10k event. It is always a great community gathering and an ideal opportunity to meet up with friends home for the Christmas holidays. There will be refreshments provided in the hall afterwards.
ECUMENCIAL SERVICE
An Ecumenical Carol Service will be held in St. Brendan’s Church, Steeple Rd. Tarbert onthis Thursday 13th December at 7pm. Refreshments will be served immediately afterwards in the Community Centre. All are very welcome.
SENIOR CITIZENS
The Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Party will take place on Sun. 16th Dec. in the Parish Hall, Ballylongford starting with Mass at 12.30pm. All welcome.
CONCERN CHURCH GATE COLLECTION
The staff, students and parents of Tarbert Comprehensive School will be collecting for Concern. The annual Concern church gate collections will be held this coming weekend, Dec. 15th & 16th. Please give as generously as you can.

Come along on St Stephens Day at 11.45 to Causeway Village crossroads for the long Puck competition which memorises Kevin Diggins with a memorial trophy for the winning team. All welcome! . Refreshments afterwards.
ATHLETICS
St Brendan’s AC has announced that the 2019 primary schools indoor sports will be held in Causeway hall on Wednesday, January 30. This year there will be medals for the top 3 in each event as well as an overall top school award.
