ROAD DEATHS

World Day of Remembrance was observed recently on Sunday November 18th. It was a day when all those who have lost their lives in road accidents were remembered. Recording of fatalities on Irish Roads began in 1959 and since that year, 24,255 people have died on this country’s roads. That’s an alarming, frightening and horrifying statistic. Eight people died on Kerry Roads in 2017.

Thankfully that figure is down to 3 in 2018 but that’s still 3 too
