ST BRENDAN’S AC
St Brendan’s AC holds its final 2018 training session in Ardfert Community Centre this Wednesday evening from 6.30 to 8pm. There will be festive fun and surprises. The club wishes everyone a happy and healthy Christmas.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Abbeydorney Development Committee would like to thank everybody who put in such a great effort to have the Christmas lights ready for the 7th December switch on.
This year was particularly trying as we had to purchase all new lighting as well as completely rewire the trees in the church yard. We thank the Electricians and Environmental group who worked in weather that was not very accommodating to meet the 7th December deadline also to the home owners and business people for providing us with the electrical connections.
Of course all this new lighting cost money, we thank everyone who buy and sell our local lotto tickets, as this is our only income we very much appreciate your support The Development Committee was formed 1999 with the objective of developing the social, economic and cultural needs of the community.
Amongst the many tasks we have carried out to date include the renovation of Abbeydorney Parish Community Hall and the development of the amenity park (The Pens) in the centre of the village
So again we thank you for your support and wish you and yours a happy and peaceful Christmas.
