ADVENT PRAYER MEETING:
The weekly Advent Prayer Meeting with Sr. Teresa takes place on this Thursday December 20th in the Parish Office, Ballyduff commencing at 7.30pm.
FESTIVE FUN 5K
The annual Festive Fun 5k in aid of the Irish Cancer Society will take place again this year on December 26th in Ballyduff. Walkers and runners alike are welcome. The walk/run will begin at 11.00am, departing from the Church Car Park. Donations on the day or Sponsorship cards are also available, call Gillian on 0863248816. Refreshments afterwards in Lowe’s Bar, Ballyduff.

ATHLETICS
The final training session for juvenile athletes takes place on this Wednesday evening in Ardfert Community Centre from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. Training will resume on Wednesday January 9th and the first competition will be the St Brendan’s area primary school sports on Wednesday January 30th. The annual Farranfore/ Maine Valley 5k road race takes place on St Stephen’s Day in Farranfore at 11 am and St Brendan’s AC will have a number of athletes in action. The club wishes everybody a happy and healthy Christmas.
