ST BRENDAN’S AC

The final training session for juvenile athletes takes place on this Wednesday evening in Ardfert Community Centre from 6.30 to 8pm. The annual Farranfore Maine Valley 5k road race takes place on St Stephen’s Day in Farranfore at 11 am and St Brendan’s AC will have a number of athletes in action

GAA AGM

The A.G.M .of Ardfert Football Club will take place on Friday 4thJanuary 2019 at 8pm in Ardfert National School, by kind permission. Nomination forms and forms of motion may be obtained from Club Secretary Christophe­r Sheehan, 087-7958714, and must be submitted by 6pm on Wednesday 2nd January 2019.

AWARDS NIGHT

The awards night for our juveniles is pencilled in for January 11th in Kate Browne’s. At 7.30 pm. We are delighted to announce that all star Kerry Footballer David Clifford will be guest of honour on the night.

DEATH

The Death has occurred of Ned (Eideen) Lucid Tiershanah­an. Reposing at Hartnett’s Funeral Home Friday evening 14th December followed by removal to St Mary’s Church Ballyheigu­e. Requiem Mass on Saturday 15th December and burial afterwards to the Holy Family Cemetery, Ballyheigu­e, May he Rest in Peace. Sadly missed by his family, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, Relatives and friends.

COURSING LOTTO

The following numbers were drawn on Monday 10th Dec in the Ballyheigu­e & District Coursing Club Lotto: 2-4-23-30. Jackpot was not won. The €50 winner was Louise O’ Sullivan, C/o White Sands.
