BEREAVEMENT

It was with a very deep sense of sadness and indeed shock that the news of the passing of Bridie Cox (Née Sheahan) R.I.P. of Ballyline filtered through on Saturday afternoon last. Bridie had been a well respected and highly popular member of this community all of her married life, she was a very active member of the local I.C.A. Guild for many years and enjoyed their frequent meetings and outings. But above all she was a great family woman and everything she done revolved around her family of whom she was extremely proud of. She married the love of her life Willie in the early 60’s settling in on the family farm in which they worked hard and then the arrival of four wonderful children was the start of a happy family life. When the children had grown it was the arrival of the grandchildren that both Bridie and Willie doted upon and it is to the family of husband Willie, son James, daughters Mary, Breda and Julie, brothers Con and Tom, sister-inlaw Margaret, daughter-in-law Noelle, sons-in-law Adrian and Sean, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, family relatives, that we extend our deepest sympathies at this time. Bridie lay in repose at Lynch’s Funeral Home, Main Street, Ballylongford on Monday evening last, with removal to St. Michael of the Archangel Church, Ballylongford. Requiem Mass took place on Tuesday, at 11am. Followed by burial in Lislaughtin Abbey, Ballylongford. May Her Gentle soul Rest in Peace.
