DEATH

The death has occurred of Dolores (Della) Nolan (née O’Shea), Lioscarrig, Caherslee, Tralee and formerly of Ballyheigu­e on 27th December 2018. Beloved wife of Brendan and Mother of Stella, Michael (Pat), Edel and Hugh. Sadly missed by her loving family. Grandchild­ren: Rachel, Sophie, Rory, Ciaran and Ben. Sisters Connie and Helen. Nephew, Nieces, Relatives and friends. Requiem Mass on Monday at Our Lady and St Brendan’s Church. Interment afterwards in Rath Cemetery.

The €25 winners were Sean Mahony, C/o Macs. Paul O’ Connor, C/o Costcutter­s and Anne Marie Horgan C/o Mike. Next week’s Jackpot is €10,900.

ST BRENDAN’S AC NOTES

Juvenile training for St Brendan’s AC starts this Wednesday evening at 6.30 in Ardfert Community Centre. The session will conclude at 8pm for U8 to U11. Training for U12s upwards is in Ardfert sportsfiel­d from 6.45 to 7.45pm.

Schools are reminded that the St Brendan’s AC area primary schools indoor sports will be held on Wednesday, January 30th at 6pm in Causeway hall.

Athletes from the club took part in a variety of events in a variety of areas last week including the annual New Year ‘s Day road race in Beaufort, the Kerry Hospice fundraiser in Tralee and two Tralee adult parkruns in a week. A special mention goes to Conor O’Sullivan and Ben O’Connor who achieved Ultra Marathon status for completing 50 junior park runs and Alex O’Carroll who got his Half Marathon wristband for completing 11 junior parkruns.
