WRENS DAY

The weather was ideal for the Wrens as they paraded the town with the Green and Gold to the fore. There were up to 150 in their group. Bringing up the rear were Sraid Eoin, Goat Street and The Quay.

Sadly, no wrens were to be seen in the country areas. Young people should make an effort to go out. Pity to see this age old custom die out.
