‘Future of farming’ on display at machinery show

JANUARY brings in a new year with a fresh outlook on the year ahead, and one thing that remains certain is the Q8 Oils Spring Farm Machinery Shows which kick starts the 2019 Agri Calendar.

The annual event in Millstreet, Co. Cork takes place on January 16/17 and is regarded by many within the Agri community as a must attend event.

The Q8 Oils Spring Farm Machinery Show in Millstreet attracts thousands of visitors from across Ireland and the UK, with visitor numbers growing steadily each year. The show is well respected for the quality of exhibitors in which are attracted to attend the show each January.

Visitors will see the latest product launches and developmen­ts and get to speak directly to dealers including Atkins, Cork Farm Machinery, Lemken, Farm Power, Buckleys and JFC Agri who will be showing their new Automatic Calf Feeder at the show amongst other exciting new product launches.

New exhibitors joining the 2019 show include Agri Spread who will be showcasing their latest trailed fertiliser/lime spreader and rear discharge manure spreader as well as Barnaboy Enterprise­s and Corbetts of Mallow.

With over 130,000 sqm of exhibition space to explore, and plenty of show offers to take advantage of, the Q8 Oils Spring Farm Machinery Show is the perfect way to stock up for the year ahead with many of the exhibitors including Timbercroc and O’Donovan Engineerin­g.

The show is easily accessible by Irish Rail, with a train service running straight to Millstreet, only a mile from Green Glens Arena. Bus Éireann also run a daily service that stops a short distance from the show.

If you wish to drive, there is ample free car parking on site. Visitors can also buy hot food and drink at the show. The venue is heated throughout the three halls to ensure a comfortabl­e time at the Machinery Show.
