THE annual James Ashe Memorial Tractor Run is back once again for 2019 as organisers get ready to stage the fundraising event this Sunday January 13.

All funds raised from the run will go towards the Palliative Care Unit in University Hospital Kerry.

Registration will take place at 10am with tractors leaving the Anvil Bar ar 12:30pm sharp.

4. SNOOKER LEGENDS IN NEWCASTLE WEST

TWO snooker legends will pitch up in Newcastle West tomorrow Thursday January 10 in what is sure to draw a great crowd.

Ken Doherty and Steve Davis are the two legends in question and they will take part in the snoooker extravaganza in the Longcourt Hotel.

Standard tickets for the show are on sale now and are set to cost just €20.

Doors open on the night for 7:30pm with the exhibition match itself starting at 8pm.
