Our next game is on Sunday, February 24th, when we host St Senans in Ballybunio­n at 12 noon. Our last North Kerry League game will be against Tarbert the following Sunday in Tarbert at noon. Beale seniors begin our County League, Division 5, campaign on March 10 when we travel to Ballyduff.

Beale minors contest Division 4 of the County League, with our first game scheduled for Saturday against St Senans in Ballybunio­n at 3pm. Other teams in this division are Ardfert, Currow, Annauscal/Lispole and Fossa. Regrettabl­y the rain and poor weather forecast forced us to cancel our weekly Walk, in the interest of safety, last Thursday evening. Join us this Thursday for a healthy walk, fresh air and exercise around the streets and beach of Ballybunio­n. We meet at Páirc de Staic, Sandhill Road, to sign in at 6.40. Walk starts at 7 o’clock. Ensure you have proper walking shoes and a hi-viz jacket. In the interest of safety, we regret dogs are not allowed. See you there! Beale GAA extend sympathies to the family of Mary (Jet) Costello, RIP, who has passed to her eternal reward. John (Gobby), Gerard and Martin wore the club colours down the years and her grandsons, Pádraig Holly, Ger O’Gorman and Gearóid Costello, carry on the family tradition today. KERRY SENI OR HURLERS: The Kerry Senior hurlers were defeated in round 2 of the Allianz Hurling League Division 2A against Westmeath in Austin Stack’s Park, Tralee on Sunday 3rd February, when the home-side lost by 2 points on a score of 2-17 to 4-13. The Crotta Hurling Club was represente­d on the Kerry team by Tomas O’Connor (Midfield) Jordan Conway at (Corner forward) and Sean Weir also came on as a sub. OPERATI ON TRANSF ORMATI ON: Knocknagos­hel GAA has again come on board with Operation Transforma­tion to join forces for "Ireland Lights Up". Every Thursday evening from 7-9pm for 6 weeks, from January 17th to February 21st our clubhouse and pitch will be open and lit up for you, your friends and your family to get out together and walk with us on our guided OT Ireland Lights Up 2019 walk. This event is open to all fitness levels and all age groups so get behind Knocknagos­hel GAA Club as we support the nation in this wonderful community initiative to get Ireland moving.
