CHEQUE PRESENTATIONS

The staff of the Revenue Office in Tralee presented a cheque for €1310 on Thursday last to the KHF. They took time out of work on the week before to hold a coffee morning along with a raffle and sponsored a Tipperary lady to wear a Kerry jersey for the day and a Limerick man to wear a Kerry jersey. The staff baked some wonderful food and they had fantastic spot prices for the raffle. To all the wonderful staff who not for the first time in the last number of years have supported the Kerry Hospice Foundation with events we are truly grateful to you. To all who supported in any way we thank you.

COFFEE MORNINGS

The coffee mornings continued this week with Spa/Fenit holding one on Friday which raised over €742. The ladies of the Milltown branch had their coffee morning too on Friday and again was a huge success raising €1400. They like Spa/Fenit had a wonderful selection of baked goods and both were greatly supported. Also on Friday the Ballylongford group held their coffee morning after having to postpone the week before due to the storm. Again this was very well attended and it was hugely supported by the locals. Well done to all the organisers and of course we thank you all for supporting.

HOOPS 4 HOSPICE

A fantastic crowd turned out last weekend in Castleisland for Hoops 4 Hospice which was in memory of Joanne Walmsley who played for St Mary’s in Castleisland for many years. Many teams took part in all age groups throughout the day. Well done to all the organisers, to all who took part and of course to all who supported in any way on the day we thank you.
