LOTTO: The lotto draw for a jackpot of €9,200 was held in O’Connors Bar on Saturday night last. The numbers drawn were 6,11,23 and 29. There was no winner of the jackpot. The five lucky dips of €30 each were won by Noel O’Connell Co. Clare, Denis D. Lane Abbeyfeale, Ann Curtin Tournafulla, John Nolan Lyre Post Office and Kathleen Poff Knockbrack.

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €9,300 and will be held in Walshs Bar on Saturday 8th February. Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL, Supervalu Abbeyfeale, the local bars and usual sellers. Our club lotto can also be played online by following the link on www. knocknagoshel.gaa.ie. National Club Draw;

Tickets for the GAA National Club Draw are available to purchase from club officers and senior club players for €10 each. The range of prizes on offer are excellent, starting from a new Renault car, a travel voucher to the value of 2000 euro, shopping voucher for 1,000 euro, All-Ireland Football Final Package 2020 and many more. All proceeds from the sale of these tickets stay in the club. MEMBERSHIP: Membership rates for 2020 are: General Membership €30, Senior Players €50, College Students €30 and minor players €20. Family rates are also available. Benefits of membership are that players are insured to play; ordinary members can use the track at the field and can seek tickets from the club for Kerry games. I. Membership can be paid using the GAA app, on clubforce.com or by contacting any club officer.

REFEREE; Anyone from the area that would like to become a referee for the club is asked to contact Dan Roche or John O’Keeffe to ensure they receive appropriate training. There is always a need for more referees and you can referee as many or as few games as you like.
