DEATH has taken place of Noreen O’Sullivan, Charles Street, Listowel and late of Graffa, Ballylongf­ord on the 9th of January, at Áras Mhuire Nursing Home, Listowel. Predecease­d by her parents Thomas and Minnie, sisters Maureen, Bridget and Elsie, brother Tom. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters Sr. Emmanuel and Patricia, nephew Christophe­r, relatives, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass for Nora took place on Saturday, with burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Listowel.

DEATH of Donal (Donie) Mulvihill, Ard-Álainn, Killacolla Barker, Glin, and Gortnaminc­h, Listowel (formerly Moyvane) on 6 January 2020. Predecease­d by his sister Joan (Dunne), brother Micheál, and niece Theresa Barrett (Chicago). Donie will be greatly missed by his wife Eileen, sister Teresa (Chicago), brothers JohnJoe (Navan) and Brendan (Los Angeles), sisters-in-law, brothersne­phews, nieces, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family,

Requiem Mass Saturday 11 January for Donie Mulvihill at the the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glin. Burial in adjoining cemetery. His first wife Eileen Brosnan died in 1988 aged 62 years.

OPERATION TRANSFORMA­TION

CLG Lios Póil will be taking part in this year’s ‘Ireland Lights Up’ walking initiative in partnershi­p with Operation Transforma­tion with a series of community walks over the next 8 Thursday evenings. The first night, open to everyone, will take place next Thursday, January 16th commencing at 6.15pm from Halla John L Ó Súilleabhá­in. Registrati­on at 6pm. The walk is free and will be just over 5km.
