Broadband has found its true moment...

-

REAL Broadband in Tralee started in 2003 and it continues to grow. We supply town and country without a problem and we are always on the end of the phone. We specialise in delivering the ‘unconventional’, whereas many larger operators would find difficulty in deploying connectivity options to customers.

Real Broadband also takes innovative approaches. Some of these challenges include geography, difficulties in planning or construction that can be met through the support of non-mainstream technology requirements. For example, many large providers don’t know where Ballylongane, Crotta and Knoppogue is, but we do.

The best customers are the ones we never hear from. When we don’t hear from them after installation that means they have no problems. This makes the customer happy, and it makes us happy. We aim to get their connectivity right from Day 1. This is their broadband connection to the Internet and their WIFI solution – From the kitchen table/office desk to the end server that they are trying to get to via the internet.

Be it a large business organisation with 400 staff or a person living on their own - all of them are important to us.

Denise Diggin, Real Broadband.

NO one could have predicted how important technology would become given the uncertainty we’re experiencing due to COVID-19. With human and social contact reduced to a level we never thought imaginable, technology is providing social interaction that up to recently we took for granted.

Central to this connectivity is our reliance on quality Wi-Fi and Broadband services. It begs the question: ‘Has Broadband finally found its true moment?’ The answer would seem to suggest, yes. Broadband allows us to keep in touch, study, be entertained and even maintain an income by allowing us to work at home.

The COVID-19 crisis has been Broadband’s moment in every sense. Yet an integral part of the success is the many local service providers in Kerry. Whether it’s high speed internet connectivity through Fibre or a Fixed Wireless connection, the outcome is one of immediate connectivity.

The concept of ‘working from home’ is now a way of life that many will consider in the future. Working from the office could be a thing of the past and many broadband providers, including your local provider, offer super-efficient services that are tailor made to working from home.

An efficient network performance has withstood the lockdown period with resilience by providing critical support to front-line workers, homes and essential services. ‘Reaching out’ and ‘connecting people’ have long been the slogans of Broadband Providers.

It seems this has finally found its true meaning.
