‘STAR IN THE SITTING ROOM’

in Association with Milltown/ Castlemaine GAA. We hope that you are all managing to keep safe and comfortable in your homes and we send our best wishes to every household in our area and beyond. To those who are working so very hard and helping to keep us safe and well through these difficult times....thank you so much. A huge maith thú to everyone for doing their part. On Easter Sunday night last, our big fundraiser ‘Taking the Mic’ was due to happen. So our club decided that there is no better time than right now to launch our ‘Star in the Sitting Room’ competition. We hope this will lift the spirits and get everybody singing, performing and expressing their talents for our fellow club members.

So how do you enter? The competition is open to all club members young and old. Simply record a short video of your chosen talent. It must be at least 30 secs long and may not exceed 2 mins. Send your recording via what’s app to Deirdre, Danny or Dara on our PRO team (Please PM our FB page for contact details). We will then post the clip on our Facebook Page for our club members to see.

For our readers who may not be on social media or into performing... may-be you could put a little few lines of a poem together or write a short story. Equally, a few quiz questions on club history, past players etc... would be very interesting and welcome. What can you win? Every entry will be put into a hat and drawn at random to determine the winners. The prizes include a club top, a Kerry Jersey and 3 prizes of a club Beanie Hat. Entries must be appropriate and must not contain any bad language. Please make contact with Deirdre, Danny or Dara if you have any questions at all.

Please be sure to get involved and have some fun! We wish you all the very best of luck.
