SAD PASSING

It is with great sadness we learnt of the passing of Denis Venn who had lived in Crow Hill, Annascaul for many years. Denis was a great friend of Annascaul village often helping out with our local walking club and festival days in Annascaul. Denis returned to London and then was a regular visitor to Annascaul along with his wife Pam.

HELP TO EDLERLY

A number of our players have volunteered to help elderly that can’t leave their homes at this time. What we can offer is: Pick up shopping/fuel they’ve ordered and deliver to the door. What we can’t do is: Taxi, go into houses, be involved in the money exchange, so this will have to be prepaid or agreed with the shop. Players will work alone and use gloves and wear club gear. The main point of contact will be Shane Foley, 086 061 9813. We would ask all club members to look out for each other at this time, particularly our elderly neighbours. If anyone is aware of anyone we can assist, please contact Shane.
