200K IN A DAY
Knocknagoshel GAA Club players and members took on the challenge of running 200km on Sunday 17th May in aid of Knocknagoshel Meals on Wheels. From early morning members set out on individual runs and over the course of the day ran over 250km or the distance of six marathons! Many donations came in during the day and by Sunday evening over €4,500 was raised for Knocknagoshel Meals on Wheels . Thanks to everyone that donated so generously and well done to all involved. Knocknagoshel Meals on Wheels deliver to Knocknagoshel, Lyreacrompane, Duagh, Brosna, Cordal and parts of Abbeyfeale and Castleisland Monday to Saturday. A main course is just €5 and a three-course meal is €7. Kids portions are now available. They also collect and return laundry and deliver groceries and prescriptions. A phone support service which provides a listening ear and advice for older people is also in available. COVID-19

MASS
St. Marys Church may reopen for private prayer on Wednesday 20th May. They are currently preparing guidelines to ensure everyone stays safe. You can hear Sunday mass on Radio Kerry at 10am and from Castleisland at 11.30am on www.churchservices.tv/castleisland RTE News Now will broadcast mass every weekday at 10.30am.
