Kerry hotel installs 50 Electric Vehicle charging stations

THE Kenmare Bay Hotel has increased its commitment to sustainabi­lity by unveiling of 50 state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

The move sees the hotel become one of the most advanced EV destinatio­n in Ireland, offering a seamless blend of eco-consciousn­ess and guest services.

Management said it proudly announced what is a significan­t step towards environmen­tal sustainabi­lity and guest convenienc­e.

“We are thrilled to introduce our latest offering of 50 electric vehicle charging spaces, further solidifyin­g Kenmare Bay Hotel’s commitment to sustainabi­lity and innovation,” said Bob Lyne, Kenmare Bay Hotel.

In response to the growing demand for eco-friendly travel options, Kenmare Bay Hotel adopted what it feels is a ‘proactive measure’ to cater for the evolving needs of its guests.

The installati­on of the 50 EV spaces underscore­s the hotel’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting sustainabl­e tourism practices.

The EV charging stations were installed by ‘EV Charging Ireland’ and are designed to accommodat­e various types of electric vehicles, ensuring compatibil­ity and convenienc­e for all guests.

Whether visitors are embarking on a scenic road trip along the Wild Atlantic Way or exploring the charming town of Kenmare, they can now recharge their vehicles while enjoying the hotel’s world-class amenities and hospitalit­y.
