Monavalley Business Park has it all

-

IT may sound like a well worn out phrase, but the guiding principle of any business is the tried and tested mantra of location, location, location.

Equally true is the accessibility factor: the greater accessibility for customers, the greater credibility from customers. It’s a simple but measured approach that one finds in abundance at Monavalley Industrial Estate situated on the northern fringes of Tralee, just minutes from the town centre.

Here one finds many reasons to be optimistic about Tralee’s economic recovery for Monavalley Industrial Estate is no ordinary place to do business. Here one finds a dual hub of economic and social activity in full flow offering a multitude of different services to customers from business to fitness and education to fabrication.

At the entry point to Monavalley Industrial Estate is the Education & Training Board Centre (FAS) which, poignantly enough, has been the gateway of success for countless Kerry people down through the years, “It’s hugely important really. We’ve done an awful lot of training over the years benefiting a huge amount of people. Many different levels and grades of training have really helped many people over decades at this stage,” said John Doherty of FAS.

Also offering an invaluable education service at Monavalley is the St. John of God’s centre where services there continue to provide a vital core in the provision of special needs education helping many adults to discover their true potential.

Proof of positivity in any Industrial centre also lies in its ability to create employment where at Monavalley one of Tralee and Kerry’s leading manufacturers, Beru now called Borg Warner, continues to flourish is this regard.

Services on the domestic front also permeate from Monavalley’s success story making it a hive of artisan and entrepreneurial activity - Kerry Wardrobes, Kingdom Signs, Kerry Estate Agents & Kerry Autokeys, Miah Lynch Delivery Services, Tralee Printing works, Fitzgerald’s Upholstery, Quirke Security, Moriarty Civil Engineering and Somers Creative Joinery are just some of the reasons why Monavalley Industrial Estate has thrived in the face of recession as many businesses now look to build on the back of hard work and prudence during more difficult times.

From ‘business to fitness’ is also very much a truism of Monavalley Industrial Estate where shedding the pounds and staying fit seems an appropriate merger with the Industrial Estate’s work ethic. Here one can choose from a multitude of different and creative pathways to fitness from Personal Trainer, Wayne Quinlan, at Achieve Fitness, offering a flexible and affordable way to get fit; Kingdom Endurance Sports, Maeve Frawley’s Fitness Centre, Crossfit 560, and Champion Thai Boxing are among the relatively new sporting pursuits that have really bolstered excitement levels within the estate.

Adrian O’Mahony spoke of how his business, the Kingdom School of Taekwondo, is just one of many success stories there, “I’m here since September 2012 and we have new members joining all the time since then. It’s good for business here as there is plenty of parking and plenty of access, so it’s good in that sense. The fact that the estate is also very spacious and well lit up means there is less trouble at night too which is no harm when it comes to business,” said Adrian.

Monavalley Industrial Estate is very much the talk of the town and is the perfect location for any business, big or small, looking to relocate or establish a business presence in Tralee; a presence unlike any other.
