EVER thoughtful when it comes to meeting its customers’ tastes and requirements, the latest revamp at Hickey’s Centra now sees the exciting new addition of a specially designed café area. With thousands of shoppers passing through its doors on a weekly basis, it’s good to know you can now set a little time aside to sit back, relax and enjoy some quality food, pastries and fresh tea and coffee after shopping.

Fresh Food Manager, James Mcilroy, talks about the exciting new revamp and explains why the new café will add to the customer’s overall experience when shopping at Hickey’s Centra.

“Six months ago we added a new café and coffee dock area which is beautifully designed with comfort in mind,” said James.

“We now have two qualified chefs on board, so there’s really a big focus on providing great food. The Deli is doing really well and the new café space is designed to give people that extra option allowing them to sit down and relax a bit more when shopping. We also do a carvery with a full range of dinners, gourmet sandwiches and fresh cakes, so there’s a lot going on here at the moment.

“Free Wi-Fi is also now available and it’s really adding a new dimension to the store. Of course the new café and coffee area also caters for drivers who stop for fuel and also for people on the go,” added James.
