County SFL play-offs continue
THE play-offs to decide final promotion and relegation places are ongoing. St Pats clinched promotion from Division 3 when defeating Annascaul by 2-11 to 0-10 in the promotion play-off final on Sunday last. Goals by Willie Hurley and Jordan Conway were the decisive scores as St Pats are promoted to Division 2 along with Ardfert and Currow.
The replay of the Division 3 relegation play-off between Ballydonoghue and Keel will be played on October 15 (4pm) in Strand Road with the losers dropping to Division 4 along with Tarbert and Beale.
The Division 4 play-off to decide the champions of that division will see the top two, Fossa and Na Gaeil play-off on Sunday, October 30.
The final promotion place in Division 5 will be decided on Saturday, October 22 when Sneem/ Derrynane play Tuosist.
COUNTY COMMITTEE MEETING
The October meeting of the County Committee will be held in Austin Stack Park on Tuesday, October 11 at 8pm when important issues in relation to the the parish rule will be the main topic of discussion.
SUICIDE AWARENESS PRESENTATION
Two members of the Kerry GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee will make presentations at a conference in The Brehon Hotel, Killarney, on Thursday and Friday (October 6 & 7). The conference is entitled ‘From Hope to Action- Interventions that work for Suicidal People’ and is organised by the Irish Association of Suicideology. GAA SEASON TICKETS ON SALE ON MONDAY
Due to Saturday’s all Ireland Football Final Replay sales and renewals for the new GAA Season Tickets will now open on Monday, October 10 and October 3 as previously planned.
COUNTY SFC SEMI-FINAL TICKETS
Tickets for Sunday’s semi-finals may be pre-purchased at all participating Centra and Supervalu Stores throughout the county including Garveys Supervalu in Dingle and Tralee, at the County Committee offices in Austin Stack Park and from the Kerry GAA Store in Killarney.
