Kerry Climbing to new heights
PRESTIGIOUS travel publication “Luxury Travel Guide” have awarded a small family run Killarney based company Kerry Climbing with the coveted title of Irelands’ “Adventure Tour Operator of the Year”.
All winners of the Luxury Travel Guide Awards are subject to rigorous assessment criteria, carried out by a panel of high ranking judges and celebrities.
This ensures only the most deserving companies receive the accolade gaining a place in an awards winners’ guide, that is distributed to over 400,000 professional and affluent individuals around the world.
Kerry Climbing, run by husband and wife team Catherine and Piaras Kelly specialise in guided ascents of the MacGillycuddy Reeks in Kerry and Ireland’s highest mountain Carrauntoohil. They also provide tours of all the other mountainous areas of southern Ireland.
From leisurely walks in ancient oak forests to challenging roped climbs and ascents.
They also provide team building and training days for future adventures and peaks as well as running corporate and charity events.
Catherine and Piaras are extremely passionate about the area and it shows.
Over the last seven years Kerry Climbing have risen to be one of the best known Adventure Companies in the country.
They have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence for the last three years running by Trip Advisor and also holding the number one spot on the website’s section on Outdoor Activity in Killarney.
