MID KERRY GAA

THE Mid Kerry primary Schools Boys UCan skills took place last Thursday in Milltown / Castlemaine GAA grounds. All schools took part, with the standard of skill level very high.

Winners were Fybough National School with team of Tadgh Evans, Shane Evans, Fionnan Griffin. Best Individual score went to Shane O’Connor of St Joseph’s Castlemaine.

They will go forward to County finals which takes place this Friday in Fitzgearld Stadium, Killarney at 11am. Best of luck to them, and congratulations to all who took part.

A big thank you to scorekeepers Mary Jo Curran, Eileen Lovett, Kevin Corkery, Pat Fitzgearld, Lorna Griffin and Eddie Bermingham, and PJ Reidy, GDA South/Mid Kerry, for co-ordinating the event. Also to Milltown / Castlemaine for use of their facilities.

Coiste na nÓg

A meeting of Ciarraí Lar Coiste na nÓg will take place on Thursday, May 11 at 8pm in the Miltown GAA Club. Mid Kerry U-10 Go Games will take place on Monday, May 15 in Beaufort at 6pm

County SFC Round 1

MID Kerry will travel to Fitzgerald Stadium on Sunday, May 14 to take on Dr. Crokes at 3.45pm, extra-time playable. This game is preceded by East Kerry and Rathmore at 2pm.
