Under-14 FOOTBALL FEILE – Our under-14 Kilgarvan/Tuosist footballers were out again Wednesday. They played Milltown/Castlemaine in the Féile B semi-final in Glenflesk and came out victorious winning 2-04 to 1-05z It was onwards to Fossa for the Féile B Final against NaGael who had beaten Kenmare in their semi-final. The first half was a closely contested battle with Kilgarvan/ Tuosist going in a point ahead at half time 1-03 to 1-02. Na Gael came out fighting in the second half and racked up the scores. Our lads did their best but after playing four matches in the last three days they could do no more. Full time score was 5-5 to 1-3. We are extremely proud of the team. It was a great achievement to get to the Féile final and they played some super football along the way. Well done to all the team and their mentors. Under-16 COUNTY HURLING LEAGUE – Hard luck to our under-16 Kilgarvan/ Kenmare hurlers who lost the semi-final by one point to Ballyheigue on Thursday. The team lined out without our own Jack Foley, who was missing through injury. It was a super game of hurling with the lead being swapped several time throughout. At half time we had the lead by two points, Kilgarvan/Kenmare 2-06 Ballyheigue 1-07.

Both sides came out blazing in the second half and the game ebbed and flowed throughout. We were two points up with five minutes to go when Ballyheigue got a goal and two points. We got a further two points but the clock ran out. Final score Kilgarvan/Kenmare 4-12 Ballyheigue 3-16.

COISTE NA NOG PARADE – Thanks to all the juveniles and their parents who lined out for the 50th anniversary parade on Sunday.
