The Kerryman (South Kerry Edition)

Mixed bag for North Kerry sides

- NORTH KERRY GAA Mairead O’Sullivan

THE first round of the County Senior Football Championship was a mixed bag for the North Kerry District teams and our players.

Shannon Rangers bowed out in the qualifiers with a very under strength team against St Brendan’s in the preliminary round. Feale Rangers had a hard fought win over West Kerry on a scoreline of Feale Rangers 1-13 versus West Kerry 0-12 and our players who are playing with St Kieran’s have to do it all again after a battle royale with Austin Stacks this should be one to watch this will take place on Saturday May 20 in Scartaglin at 6.30pm, Feale Rangers face Rathmore in Rathmore on Saturday May 20 at 6.30pm in Rd 2 also.

The North Kerry Football Board send our best wishes to all our players involved with their district teams.
