Ballyhar took the lead in the 20th minute with a Shane O’Donoghue goal after a great through ball by Ger Fitzgerald. However, table toppers Mitchels Avenue struck back and goals from Brendan Coffey and Emeka Sheezynerio gave them the three points.

Ballyhar had a couple of chances to equalise but the goal did not come and this win puts Mitchels Avenue five points clear at the top of the table and a win in any of their two remaining games will guarantee them a place in the final.
