SUNFLOWER HEROS

Pride of the kingdom this week goes to two ladies from the Iveragh Hospice Group.

Eileen O Connor from Glen, Ballinskelligs and Anne Bowler from Cahersiveen were both honoured on Tuesday last in the Mansion house at the launch of Sunflower Day. They both joined the long list of Sunflower Heroes who are honoured every year for their many years of volunteering for Hospice groups. Both Eileen and Anne are involved in the Iveragh group for many years and have done trojan work volunteering in The Kerry Hospice Foundation.

They received this special award from Mary Kennedy and is so well deserved. Well done and congratulations to you both and enjoy being Sunflower Super Heroes for 2017.
