Hurling clubs invited to send one competitor to Poc Fada county final
COMÓRTAS Poc Fada Chiarraí, the county long puck hurling competition will take place over a course on Kerryhead Mountain on this Bank Holiday Monday, 5 June, commencing at 1.30pm. One competitor from each club is invited to participate in the senior and under 16 hurling and camogie and veteran sections. The perpetual trophy for the senior competition is sponsored by the North Kerry Hurling Board. Invited guest at the event will be former Tipperary hurler and national Poc Fada champion, Brendan Cummins.

Celtic Challenge
The Kerry Under 17 hurlers lost by 2-14 to 0-18 to Limerick City last Saturday in Round 4, Group B of the Celtic Challenge competition. Round 5 against South & East Clare will take place on this Wednesday, May 31 at Neville Park, Rathkeale, 7.30pm.
Hurling Cúl Camps 2017
Registration is now open for the 2017 Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps. Hurling venues in Kerry are: Causeway & Rathmore (3 - 7 July), Lixnaw & Ballyduff (10 14 July), Ballyheigue & Kenmare (17 - 21 July), Abbeydorney, Ardfert & Fitzgerald Stadium (31 July - 4 Aug), Crotta O’Neills - Dromakee (7 - 11 August) and Kilmoyley & Tralee Parnells - Caherslee (14 - 18 August).
Cost is €60 per child with reductions for additional members of families. Open to primary school children, boys and girls between 6 and 13 years of age. Monday’s to Friday’s, 10am – 2.30pm daily. Further details at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
